When Zurich's Mathias Makau recorded his first track on Playstation 1, releases on labels like Baroque or even his own label Elastic Trax were still pure wishful thinking.
Years have flown by since his first steps and we welcome him with his new EP Lion's Head on Sirion Records.
Minimal warm basslines, drums, percussion elements, synth surfaces and intelligently distributed accompaniment sounds, peppered with discreetly held vocals give the tracks organic warmth and a wonderful depth.
